Established I-Char Technology Co., Ltd. and in Shenzhen, China, I-Zou Hi-tech Co., Ltd. to enter the field of components for TFT-LCD modules and begin development of lamp housings, backboards and frames. ● Injection molding plant officially started production using surface mount technology for SMD LEDs. |

| 2002 | ● The company began to develop with the 3C industry in central China and expanded its business from South China (Shenzhen) to central China (Shanghai). I-Chiun Precision Industry Co., Ltd. Kunshan was established. | |
| 2003 | ● Successfully developed an ultra-thin flat vibration motor. Production lines for LED lead frames and TFT-LCD backlight modules began operation. ● Honored for continuous improvement in line with ISO-14001 (Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs); won ISO-9001 certification and won joint ISO-9001/ ISO-14001 certification. ● I-Zou Hi-tech Co., Ltd. Shenzhen won ISO-9001 certification. ● Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs and industry experts voted to present NT$3 million to I-Chiun as a technology project award. Successfully developed a micro motor with power consumption as low as 70mA and capable of running at 600,000 rpms with no load. This device is now used as a vibration motor for mobile phones. |
