waste

I-ChIun Precision adheres to the principles of waste resource utilization and maximizing its use, minimizing waste generation. Waste management primarily focuses on resource recycling and reuse, with final disposal as a secondary measure. In terms of control measures, personnel are required to strictly adhere to waste sorting to prevent indiscriminate disposal and subsequent treatment problems. Furthermore, waste is controlled at its source, with process-generated waste categorized according to its properties: waste organic solvents, waste iron powder, waste enameled wire, waste wiping paper, and waste adhesive strips, etc., for strict recycling. In addition, the company advocates reducing paper waste from paperwork, encouraging double-sided printing of general documents or using the blank side of obsolete documents whenever possible. Currently, all waste collection companies they cooperate with are legally licensed collection agencies.

Major theme Waste management
Importance to the company Adhering to the principles of waste resource utilization and maximizing its use, we aim to minimize waste generation and promote sustainable development.
Policy/Commitment
  • I-Chiun Precision Waste Treatment focuses on resource recycling and reuse, with final disposal as a secondary approach.
  • Continuous maintenance of environmental management system, continuous recycling and waste reduction.
  • Comply with environmental regulations, rules, and customer requirements.
  • Through communication, promotion, and educational training, enable all employees to recognize the importance of environmental management.
Target short term
  • Based on the number of employees in 2025, the output per person will be reduced by 1% by increasing the recycling rate of general industrial waste.
  • Increase the sludge reuse rate by more than 1% compared to 2025.
  • By carefully sorting hazardous waste—electronic scraps, the proportion of non-hazardous waste recycling is increased.
Medium to long term
  • The per capita output rate of general waste decreased by 2%.
Resources invested and specific results in the current year
  • Waste classification and recycling are detailed, and the distinction between recyclable and non-recyclable wastes is strengthened.
Responsible department / appeal mechanism Occupational Safety Office/Company Website.
Evaluation mechanism
  • The amount of general industrial waste generated per person in the current year shall decrease by more than 1% compared with the previous year.
  • The sludge reuse rate in the current year increased by more than 1% compared to the previous year.

Waste types and disposal(metric tons) 2023 year 2024 year 2025 year
General industrial waste
  • Household waste (incineration)
  • Waste paper mixture (incineration)
  • Waste containing precious metals (chemical)
  • Other mixtures (incineration)
68.389 90.5715 101.56
(Note1)
Hazardous waste
  • Electroplating process sludge (reuse, heat treatment)
  • Waste electronic components (physics)
  • Waste pickling solution (reuse)
  • Cyanide electroplating solution (chemistry)
  • Other mixtures (incineration)
324.358 396.6417 489.9745
(Note2)
Note 1: The amount of household waste has increased dramatically due to a significant increase in the number of employees.
Note 2: The weight of hazardous industrial waste has increased due to the establishment of multiple new production lines.
